Machinery

In the years since it first appeared in hardcover this text has become a standard among self-reliant cruising sailors, boat builders and small-boat enthusiasts. Combining hundreds of finely textured drawings with a witty, wise and philosophical probing commentary, it is as much about repairing, maintaining and understanding sails as it is about making them.
