Magical Window Stars

Description

Using special paper-folding techniques, coloured tissue paper can be transformed into magical window stars, suitable for any season. This book contains step-by-step instructions for making 25 window stars. Each design is graded for difficulty, to allow the beginner to progress easily and confidently. Frederique Gueret also shows how the stars can be painted with additional colour accents which, when the light shines through in a certain way, create a dazzling veined effect.

Author description

Frederique Gueret was born in France in 1949. After completing her art training, she developed her own method of paper-folding with tissue paper and first published her window transparencies in 1999.
