Steve Cooper is a freelance writer. A former investigative journalist, he left newspapers to pursue his passion for fishing, and these days spends five months of the year on the water overseas. Steve has written more than 20 books including Snapper Secrets, Fishing Techniques, The Reel Issues and Steve Cooper's Australian Fishing Guide. Chris Palatsides is a freelance illustrator. A former secondary school teacher now working as a graphic designer, he spends more of his time pursuing his love of fishing through his art and illustrating. His fishing-based illustrations have featured prominently in numerous national fishing magazines and he is the current illustrator for Fishing World magazine.
