Product Information

William Doyle is a Professor of Early Modern History in the Department of Historical Studies at the University of Bristol, specializing in the history of eighteenth-century Europe. His books include The Old European Order; The Oxford History of the French Revolution and The Ancien Regime. He has contributed hundreds of articles and reviews to numerous journals and publications. Sonya Newland has written on historical subjects from Ancient Egypt to the Second World War, the British monarchy to landmarks of the British Isles. She is currently undertaking a masters degree in Arthurian Studies in between her work as a writer and editor.
